offers Mainstream Lessons

Class instructor is Stephen Noseck

New classes begin each September
Clases are held on
Mondays from 7-9 PM  at
Totem Middle School (cafeteria),1605 7th St., Marysville

A partner is not required.  "Angels" (experienced dancers) will be there to assist new dancers.  

Need a reason to square dance?  Read on.....

Half hour of dancing can burn between 200 and 400 calories
Cardiovascular exercise-like dancing can lead to slower heart rate, lower blood pressure and improve cholesterol profile.  
Strong Bones-Dancing strengthens our weight bearing bones and can help prevent or slow loss of bone mass (osteoporosis).
Keeps the mind sharp, potentially staving off age-related memory loss experts say.
Positive alternative to aerobic dancing or jogging.
Develop strong social ties which contribute to self-esteem and positive outlook.  And who doesn't need another friend?
